Te Kaupapa is a mental health and addictions service that provides a by Māori, for Māori approach to whānau in distress.

If you or someone in your whānau is feeling down or facing challenges, this is what we refer to as “Whānau in Distress,” which may affect their mental health and overall well-being.

Te Kaupapa works together with whānau, utilising a holistic approach prioritising mātauranga Māori. Through a series of wānanga, we help improve the well-being of whānau.

Our Pou Oranga (kaimahi/staff) come with a range of lived experiences and taught skillsets through te ao Māori practices and clinical expertise. Having undertaken general stream training and prioritising mātauranga Māori, we are ready to respond to whānau in ways that are inclusive, whānau-driven, and indigenously grounded. Te Kaupapa ki NHC (National Hauora Coalition) is partnered with 11 providers across the region of Tāmaki Makaurau, Counties Manukau, and Waikato.
